~ MISSION STATEMENT ~

To provide an environment where children of all ages can come to explore all aspects of performing arts.  An environment that does not discriminate against age, sex, race, religion or disability.  To embrace each persons character and help mold and create their image through discipline and technique training; an image all their own to utilize in the world of performing arts and beyond.

"A teacher's purpose is not to create students in their own image but to develop students who can create their own image." ~ unknown

Theresa Hudson -
Artistic Director / Instructor
Fusion N Motion Director

Theresa began dancing at the age of 3 with her  hometown school of Bay Area performing Arts Center in Deer Park, Texas.  There she studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and lyrical/modern dance.  At BAPAC she was the recipient of several awards including Overall Excellence and Student of the Year.  At 15, she began teaching at her childhood dance school.  Through the years Theresa competed at regional and national leave dance competitions all over the United States also attending Master Classes with artists such as Shane Sparks, Dave Scott, Savion Glover, Laurie Ann Gibson and many more.  During this time Theresa was introduced to the world of Hip-Hop dance.  You may have heard of some of these people from the most recent television shows "So You Think You Can Dance" and America's Best Dance Crew. " Theresa performed as a core dancer with the Houston Ballet Academy in performances such as "The Nutcracker", "Giselle", and "Coppelia." After moving to Colorado in 2003, Theresa opened her first dance studio in Brighton.  After 4 successful years she sold her studio to pursue family. During that time she traveled judging dance competitions throughout the United States all while still teaching at a local studio.  Since that time Theresa has felt the overwhelming desire to bring once again to her community a quality performing arts school.  She feels strongly that anyone who has the desire to perform weather it is through dancing, acting or singing should be given the opportunity to do so with the proper technique training and guidance.  Thus, Fusion Dance and Theatre Company was born...
